In February, a teacher from from our school, carried out an Erasmus stay in the United Kingdom, in Stafford, meeting the Staffordshire Women´s Aid Association, which, among other programs, manages a shelter for women and families victims of gender violence. 12 families, 12 women and 25 boys and girls between the ages of 1 and 17 live in the house. The stay has allowed us to learn about other ways of welcoming and working with women and children, both at home and in the processes of rebuilding life and social integration.
